About Frances Antoinette Cruz

Frances Antoinette Cruz is an Assistant Professor at the College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines, Diliman, co-convenor of the Decolonial Studies Program at the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies and PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Her current research involves tracing the representation of Muslims in the Philippines in historical newspapers and contemporary print and social media using digital tools. Her latest publication, International Studies in the Philippines: Mapping New Frontiers in Theory and Practice, is co-edited with Nassef Manabilang Adiong and was published by Routledge in April 2020.
